"Fernsehsuche" is derived from the german words for television ("Fernsehen") and search ("Suche") and is a popular site in Germany providing a unified interface to look for on-demand video content from german public and private television channels.
If you are interested in watching german television - maybe because you want to improve your language skills or you are interested in the country - this is the right app for you. Fernsehsuche lets you search for new series, shows and movies shown on main german TV stations like ARD, ZDF, Sat.1 and many others.
If youve found a video you are interested in you can directly watch it in the integrated web browser of the app. To get to the content you are looking for you can filter by things like the duration of a video or the genre it belongs to.
This is the ad-supported version of the app, which you can test or long-term use for free. An upgrade to the ad-free version within the app via in-app purchase is possible.
There is also AirPlay support to stream content to your big wide-screen television in the living room.
